Fresh Cut aka PE
Our Fresh Cut trees, or in more political terms Polyethylene (PE), are made up of a plastic molded needle. This material is more durable and pliable and has a sort of 3-D shape to the tips (allowing for easy shaping and looking so real). Many of our Fresh Cut trees have the inside made of PVC, or what we call “Filler” to save the in unnecessary costs. Much of the PVC gets covered with your beautiful ornaments and decorations.
Pretty much, our Fresh Cut is close to a live tree as they come. In fact, your family and friends won’t believe it when you tell them it’s an artificial tree!

PVC
PVC, aka Polyvinyl Chloride, is used in many applications in today’s world including artificial Christmas trees. On trees, it is a thin material that is soft can mixed with different colors of green. It is more cost effective than PE trees allowing for a more budget friendly artificial tree from Santa’s Own.

Perfect Lit
Similar to a Stay-lit set where if one or more bulbs are loose, twisted, or broken, the lights will stay-lit. It’s an incandescent light set that has a resistor in the socket of each bulb that corrects the flow of electricity and keeps other bulbs lit if bulbs are broken, burnt out, or removed. Each bulb runs independently so you will never have a cascaded set. Much better than a standard set, but not as good as a staylit set. Staylit functions the same way, but with a thermistor. A resistor detects a change in voltage and a thermistor detects a change in temperature.

LED
Also known as Light-emitting Diode, LED lights are similar to incandescent bulbs, except they do not have the filament inside that can burn out. They are popular due to their low energy usage (about one tenth the energy used by incandescent bulbs) and very long lifetimes. Our LED light sets shine in a Warm White color or Multi and have a similar looking bulb as an incandescent light set. With these characteristics, you won’t even be able to tell that they are LED!

Stay-Lit
Staylit worry free lights are engineered to stay lit even if one or more bulbs are loose, twisted, or broken. Standard light sets will remain lit if a bulb burns out. But, if a bulb becomes loose, twisted or broken, all the bulbs within its circuit will go out. Staylit lighting uses patented technology to regulate voltage by inserting a computer chip in every socket. This chip regulates the flow of electricity to each bulb and completes the circuit even when bulbs are loose, twisted, or broken.
